Motor parts cutting/polishing products

Outer diameter cutting of commutators/rotors and the motor shaft film polishing process are realized through the V-block method.

High precision commutator cutting, rotor outer diameter cutting, and film polishing of both axes are realized with the V-block receiver and belt drive.

Because both ends of the shaft are supported by the V-block and the work is polished by the rotating belt, the runout of the shaft is less than that of shafts cut by lathe machining. It is possible to make the roundness of the commutator less than 3 μm and that of the rotor less than 10 μm. It is also possible to polish both axes of the motor using the polishing film method. Upon customer request, semi-automatic or fully automatic control of the machine can be used.

In the case of semi-automatic control, manual injection of the work in the machine by an operator is required, and in the case of fully automatic control, the work is injected in the machine with the lift and carrier method.
